Driving out of the centre of Chester, going west, on Sealand Road, look for the Jaguar garage on the left (about 1½ miles from the centre of Chester). Turn left at the Jaguar garage. After 300 yards, just before the road bends to the left, you will see the building you are looking for straight ahead, on the right hand side of the road. To get to it you need to take a small road to the right just before the bend. You will see a sign on the front of the building saying "Obsidian Office Reception to the left".

What to remember when you come for your HGV medical or taxi medical...

If you wear glasses for driving bring them for the eyesight test. If we've sent you a sample bottle, remember to bring a urine sample with you. If not, we'll ask you to do a sample when you arrive, so don't go just beforehand.

Make sure you have your medical form for the doctor to fill in. Please fill in the section with your name and address and GP details before you arrive. (If you have a DVLC D4 medical form this is on the back page.)

Bring identification with you, such as a passport or photo driving licence. If you don't have either please call us.
